Star Wars in my opinion is one of the best Sci-Fi story lines created. Many people only look at the movies and such. That is only a small part of the story line. There are many more stories, back stories, and future stories (taking place after Luke defeats Vader).

The story line is much more developed than just the movies that are available. Not all of it is approved by Lucus but it makes for a long in depth story.
